Hi there! I’m Amanda 🙂 welcome to my little piece of the Internet where I plan to share my passion for travel, the outdoors, a little bit of DIY & decorating and of course my true love, food. I’m a 20-something living in the city of sin, Las Vegas. While most people my age are out partying at this club or that pool, I’m more of a homebody (as of lately I should say). I do love going out and having a drink here and there, and maybe getting a little wild at times, but no where near as much as I did in my early 20’s. Now I just drink heavily at home, haha.. Low key joking. Really, I love spending time with the people in my life that matter most, creating things and experiences, my dogs and of course eating. Which are all reasons why I decided to start a blog,
I just bought my first home and am going to attempt to put a decent amount of work into it on my own, along with the help of a pair of strong arms 😉 I wanna share the projects I plan on doing along with the execution and outcome of them all, fingers crossed that most of them them turn out!
I have a big passion for travel and the outdoors. I try to get out and explore as much as I can. Like I said, I live in Las Vegas and am lucky enough to have a gorgeous national park that’s pretty much in my backyard. So you can look forward to seeing many posts about those gorgeous mountains along with all the other adventures I decide to embark on.
I’ve saved the best for last, the FOOD! I will be doing a ton of posts about food. After all, it is one of my greatest passions. I refer to food as my love language, it’s how I communicate and feel, it’s how I socialize and create memories. I’m a self taught cook who got majority of my skills from watching my Grandma in the kitchen as I grew up. While I’m no where near a professional cook, nor do I want to be. Mostly because I feel like there’s something so homey and warming about home cooks. I do however tend to be creative and I take so much joy into experimenting and creating new recipes and dishes, many of which I plan to share here.
Thanks for taking the time to learn a little about me! Now if you excuse me I need to get busy creating things, cooking and seeing the world 🙂
